Aqamony is operated by Vahagn Davtyan, doing business as Aqamony ("we", "us", or "our"). We provide an online image preparation service at aqamony.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

• Account information — when you sign in (for example name, email, and authentication identifiers) via our auth provider, Clerk.
• Billing information — if you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Paddle. We receive subscription status and related billing metadata; we do not store full card numbers.
• Images and project data — photos you upload, edits you make, and export-related files needed to run the service.
• Usage data — credits used, feature usage, device / browser basics, and approximate logs needed for security and reliability.

3. How we use your information

• Provide background removal, editing, export, and downloads
• Authenticate accounts and manage free / Pro access
• Process payments and prevent abuse or fraud
• Improve the product and fix issues
• Communicate about service, billing, or support when needed

4. Processors and third parties

We use trusted providers to operate Aqamony, including:

• Clerk — authentication and account sessions
• Paddle — checkout, subscriptions, and tax handling
• AI / processing providers — to run background removal and related image tools on content you submit
• Hosting / storage / database providers — to run the app and store necessary data

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Images and retention

Uploaded images are processed to deliver the features you request. We keep files only as long as needed for the service, support, abuse prevention, or legal requirements. You should keep your own copies of important originals and exports.

6. Cookies and similar tech

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, session security, and basic product operation. Auth-related cookies are required for logged-in features to work.

7. Your choices

• Access or update account details through your signed-in profile
• Request deletion of your account / associated data by contacting us
• Cancel a Pro subscription through the billing portal where available

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No online service is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password for your account.

9. Children

Aqamony is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Aqamony after updates means you accept the revised policy.
